The countdown is on and my holiday shopping list is getting longer and longer by the day. I always find there’s lots of things to buy before going away from new clothes to toiletries. However one particular list of mine just keeps on piling up. My travel tech wish list feels like it’s never ending recently! When did it become necessary to take so many gadgets on holiday with me? Check out some of my favourite travel tech essentials below, some of them could really change the way you travel!
My Travel Tech Wishlist
I stumbled across this little gem the other week whilst looking for a selfie stick. Whenever I take selfies I have the classic problem of not having long enough arms, so this little gadget is perfect!
Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H5 Wireless Headphones £199.95
Over the course of our journey we’ll be taking ten flights. And as much as I love my boyfriend, it goes without saying i’ll need some music to get me through all that time in the sky. I love a good set of headphones but I always find myself getting tangled in the wires or resting uncomfortably against the chairs because of the big bulges coming out of my ears. So when I discovered these wireless earphones from B&O they went straight on my travel tech wishlist! They’re so pretty too!
Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 Instant Camera £85.50
Does anyone else miss the days of printed photos? I can’t actually remember the last time I printed a photo which is really sad. About a year ago I saw a really cool image on Pinterest where someone had printed a ton of these cool ‘Polaroid’ style images and put them all in a frame- ever since then I’ve wanted one of these cameras so I can do exactly the same.
Uniqfind Marble Macbook Hard Case $59.99
I actually first mentioned this Macbook case about a year ago in a stationery post. A year on, I still haven’t bought it which is terrible but it suddenly dawned on the other day that’ll I need to take my laptop with me on holiday. So it’s crucial I get something that’s going to protect it during our travels through many busy cities and airports.
Belkin MIXIT Metallic Power Pack £29.99
I am FOREVER running out of battery on my phone. It’s so bad it’s got to the point where my boyfriend is ‘shocked’ if I come home from a day at work with more than 5% battery! So it’s pretty essential I get one of these before disappearing to the other side of the world. I can’t Instagram on the go without phone battery!
Olympus PEN E-PL8 Camera £499
It’s no secret that the Olympus Pen is THE camera for bloggers. So when they announced they were releasing a new one (for only £100 more than the E-PL7), it went straight to the top of my shopping list. I’ve been looking at getting a new camera for a while now so pre-ordering this bad boy for holiday was a no-brainer.
Fitbit Alta £99.95
I’ve never understood those people that say ‘I hate walking’. Walking around new places is the best way to explore and discover everything it has to offer! With that in mind, I’m pretty sure we’ll be racking up the miles whilst we’re away so getting a Fitbit would be a great way to see how fit we actually are.
Raden A28 Check Suitcase $395
This suitcase is the suitcase of my dreams. I read about it at the beginning of the year and it’s been on my mind ever since. It’s so incredibly clever that it tracks and weighs your luggage plus it even charges your devices. Pretty clever hey? And I can’t forget to also mention how gorgeous they are. I’ll have one in each colour please!
GoPro HERO5 £349.95
A few years ago the GoPro became the must have item for travel bloggers. The new HERO5 literally came out a few days ago and is the first GoPro to film in 4k. If that means absolutely nothing to you, in simple terms, it’s the best film quality you can get right now (your videos will look EPIC!). Having always dreamed of taking one of these diving with us at the Great Barrier Reef, I’d love to be able to buy my own to take away with us. However with how much everything else is costing right now, I think i’ll just have to settle for borrowing my brothers!
